Blazing Babies
Gameplay from a run on Hard.
What you do
A building is on fire and the babies inside have decided the window is the way out. You control two firemen holding a trampoline. Slide them left, middle or right, catch each falling baby, and bounce it across the street in stages until it lands in the ambulance. Let one hit the pavement and you lose a life.
It gets faster the better you play. Every baby you save nudges the speed up, and by the later levels there are several in the air at once, coming from different floors.
Bits and pieces
- Four difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard and Tantrum. Tantrum is short, starts deep and is nearly unfair.
- Power-ups that drift down mid-round: an extra life, a slow motion hourglass, and a soiled diaper you really want to catch before it lands.
- Gems, a rescue kit you can bring into a run, and a store to spend them in between runs.
- Per-difficulty high scores, kept on your device.
- Touch or keyboard. Works on a phone, a tablet and a desktop.
