Privacy Policy
The short version: this website collects nothing unless you allow analytics in the cookie banner. There are no ads, no accounts, and no forms. If you email us, we only use your address to reply.
This policy covers the ybar.games website, operated by YBar Games ("we", "us"). Our games have their own policies, because a game on your phone and a website in your browser handle data differently. The policy for Blazing Babies is here.
Analytics (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to see roughly how the site is used: which pages are viewed, what kind of device and browser visitors use, and which country or region visits come from. This helps us understand whether the site works well, nothing more. We do not use it to identify you, we do not show ads, and we do not sell or share data for advertising.
Analytics is off by default. It only starts after you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you press Reject, or press nothing, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of the homepage.
When enabled, analytics data is processed by Google on our behalf, as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Google Analytics retains this data for a limited period (at most 14 months) and we only ever see it in aggregated form.
Cookies and local storage
- Consent choice: your Accept or Reject answer is stored in your browser's local storage so we do not ask you again on every visit. It contains only the word "granted" or "denied".
- Analytics cookies: set only if you accepted, and used by Google Analytics to tell visits apart (cookie names starting with
_ga).
That is the full list. There are no advertising or social media cookies.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare briefly processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver the pages and to protect the site from attacks, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We do not keep server logs of our own.
If you contact us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to respond to you, and we do not share it or add it to any mailing list.
Children
This website is a plain informational site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Under privacy laws such as the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. In practice we hold almost nothing: at most your email correspondence, and consent-gated analytics that we cannot link to you personally. Email us at [email protected] with any request or question and we will sort it out.
Changes to this policy
If the site changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, if we ever add a newsletter), we will update this page and the effective date above. The address of this page stays the same.
